It was a colorful program and many prominent leaders from Assam and West Bengal had joined the conference. Mr.Kampa Borgoyare, Deputy Chief BTAD,Assam, Shri Chandan Brahma MLA & Ex minister,Assam, Mr.Rajendra nath Boro,President Dularai Boro Samaj,Assam, Mr.Raj Basumatary,President,Bodo Writers Academy,Assam, Mr.Doneswar Goyari,EM BTAD,Assam, Mr.Jana mohan Mushary,President & Ex BLT,BTAD,Assam, Mr.Premdhar Bora,GS,DBS, Mr.D.P.Roy, MLA,Alipurduar, Mr.Atul Suba,Vice Chairman,Alipurduar Zila Parishad along with Mr.Wilson Champramary, MLA,Kalchini were present and addressed the conference.
Many Bodo songs and dances were performed by many Bodo artists which were extra ordinary features of the program. While delivering speech all the speakers demanded recognition of Bodo language from West Bengal Government.Elder Congress leader and MLA of Alipurduar Mr.D.P.Roy had assured the conference that he will raise the issue in next Assembly sitting of West Bengal Govt. Mr.Atul Suba had narrated the progress on the matter with West Bengal Government concerned. More than 500 Bodo(Mech) people had attended the conference. Organisers of the conference provided Lunch for participants.
